I can't believe how quickly time has gone. I'm sure I've heard it said a million times "They grow up so fast" but I've never experienced it before like I have these last six months. It feels like yesterday and forever ago that I was pregnant with Lucas. Just last night Ralph and I were reminiscing about feeling Lucas kick while he was inside of me and wondering what he would be like and being so excited to meet him.

Several people have told me I need to update my blog. I only laugh and say I will when I have the time. Time! What a concept with a newborn. I have a couple of minutes while he is sleeping peacefully so I'll type fast!

Well, Lucas arrived today (November 21, 2008) at 7:08 am. He came at a whopping 9 lbs. 5 oz. and 22 in. We will be updating the site very soon with some fresh pictures of him!

Today was another doctor's appointment. I love getting to go and hear the heartbeat, Ralph and I have just been wishing to see him again on a sonogram.

I guess I can say that things have been just a bit crazy around here. I'm counting down...Only six weeks and a day until my due date. October is a pretty busy month as well so I can only imagine the time will continue to fly.

I'm a little over 7 months pregnant and at 31 weeks. Time is really flying these days. It seems unbelievable that in about two months time we will have Lucas here with us. The last few weeks have been pretty eventful for me.

Being married to a web designer I've been fortunate enough to get this cool website for our baby. Of course now he's been bugging me to get on here and start blogging! It feels a little overwhelming to try to convey all that has happened during these first six months of pregnancy and the time leading up to becoming pregnant.
